About the Newman Center


The Humboldt State University Catholic Newman Center, named after Saint John Henry Newman, is a place for college students to share, learn, and live the Catholic Faith.

The Newman Center Catholic Student Club provides for the college students Holy Mass, Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament, classes to learn about Catholicism, opportunities for service in the community, as well as a place for students to build lasting friendships.

The HSU Newman Community has been part of the HSU community since 1958.
