On May 18, 2021, Deacon Kenneth Bond retired from active ministry. He was ordained to the diaconate 40 years ago and served the people of Hoopa at St. Kateri Tekakwitha and the Humboldt State Newman Center for 33 years.
We thank you, Deacon Ken, for your service to the Humboldt State Newman Community and St. Kateri Tekakwitha.
We also thank his wife, Rose, for her many hours of bookkeeping, organizing, and cookie baking she did for the Newman Center and students.
